SEEKING INTERIM PASTOR
First Baptist Church Frankfort KY is seeking to hire an interim pastor while the church is undertaking a search for the permanent pastor of this 190-year-old African American church located in the capital of Kentucky. First Baptist Church is affiliated with the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky.
The successful candidate must be an ordained minister who demonstrates success as a spiritual leader and preacher/teacher of the Word of God. Prior pastoral experience is required. The Interim Pastor will serve as our spiritual leader and have the primary responsibilities of preaching and teaching the Word of God, engaging in Pastoral Care Ministries and providing administrative leadership in all areas of the church during this period of transition as we search for a permanent pastor. Please note: The individual selected to serve as the Interim Pastor will also be eligible to apply for the full time Senior Pastor position.
